Thanks for checking out my site! I’m so incredibly grateful to have you here.
So a little about me…
I am a fierce and passionate 30-something currently calling Minnesota our home. But that hasn’t always been the case. By the time I turned 21, I had lived in 4 different countries on 3 different continents. I believe this has made me somewhat curious about many things.
And so I have a lot of passions and interests. I am a self-confessed coffee snob…err…addict. I have had a successful professional career in competitive dog sports (thinking about starting a blog and a podcast on just that!). I have been a runner for over 20 years. I love fashion and beauty. I am an IT professional. I am extremely competitive. A bit of an overachiever. I love pushing the limits. And I am obsessed with anything related to health and longevity.
Which brings me to why I started this blog. Brunette on a Mission is an incredible outlet for me to share my personal mission with you. My quest is to learn how to become the best possible version of myself and in doing so help others reach optimal health, well-being and happiness.
I do this by bringing real science-backed information to you and breaking it down into relevant and actionable steps anyone can implement. As I mentioned earlier, health, longevity, optimal performance and ultimately happiness are the goals. I believe we can do this by bio-hacking ourselves.
It is important to note, however, that I have no training in nutrition or athletic performance, nor am I a doctor. None of the information on this site should be used as medical advice of any sort whatsoever. As always, please consult a doctor for any medical advice.
I am simply someone who is obsessed with learning about health, nutrition, and sharing it with others so we can all geek out together.
To keep things light and interesting, you will also find stuff about fashion, beauty tips, topics on parenting, and lifestyle in general.
Let me know if you enjoy my blog and have any particular topics of interest by connecting on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Or simply drop a comment!
